There are a lot of fun places to go in Orange County that perhaps you will have a hard time deciding where to start. No doubt one of the most popular places in Orange County is Disneyland found in Anaheim. Opened to the public in 1955, Disneyland in Anaheim is officially known as Disneyland park to set it apart from the Disneyland Resort in Florida. It remains one of the most visited theme parks in the whole world to this day. Another theme park worth visiting is the Knott’s Berry Farm. The park is composed of six areas all with a different theme like a Ghost Town, a Fiesta Village which features carnival rides, the Boardwalk where you can ride the most heart-stopping rides, Camp Snoopy featuring, you guessed it, the character of the Peanuts comic strip. It’s not surprising that Snoopy is the official mascot of the park. The other two areas are about Native American crafts and the other features wild river rafting rides. Another fun place to go is the Balboa Fun Zone. It is one of the earliest amusement parks in the southern California area which opened in 1936. It is situated in the Newport Beach area and is one of the favorite destinations along with Disneyland and the Knott’s berry farm.

The other fun places to go in Orange County depends on the activities you enjoy doing. If you prefer taking relaxing walks and communing with nature, Orange County has several parks and harbors where you can do your favorite activity. Biking is also one of the more popular activities in Orange County especially in the Huntington Beach and Newport Beach area. If you enjoy swimming in the beach, Orange County has two other beaches to go to aside from Huntington and Newport, the State Beach of San Onofre and San Clemente. Even your dog can take a holiday with you in the two Dog Beach areas in Orange County; they even provide you with free poop bags if you need to clean up after your pet.

If you are an art lover, the fun places to go in Orange County would naturally be the museums and art galleries. The county is home to several museums that you can visit while the Santa Ana area has an art district which you can browse through.
